About BIS-Nationwide
Three generations of brokers, five specialist sites, one promise: maximum cover for the minimum cost.
Our story
At CI4U GB Nationwide Limited we are proud of our heritage. The Bond family has represented the insurance industry since 1940, when Leonard John Bond started his career working for Paladin, a Lloyd's of London syndicate.
It was Leonard Bond who first introduced the Protected No Claims Bonus in the 1960s, and by the early 1970s he was promoted to Senior Underwriter, dealing with some of the top names in British business such as Slumberland, Sainsbury's and Wedgwood.
Leonard's son Gregory worked for a London insurance company (F.A. Spiers & Co Ltd) until 1973, when they opened a branch in Nottinghamshire to look after the miners' insurance needs. The company was also the official broker for the Newsagents Federation, the Retail Confectionary Association and London Transport.
In 1984 Gregory Bond set up his own business, Bond Insurance Services, in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. It soon became known locally as a trusted business offering reliable personal service and value for money. Gregory retired in 2004, and it is now his son Simon Bond who has developed Bond Insurance Services into CI4U GB Nationwide Limited.
Simon Bond is committed to upholding the family tradition of providing the best possible insurance cover, developing innovative policies and offering clients competitive prices. CI4U GB Nationwide Limited specialises in all aspects of professional and commercial insurance, with five specialist sites covering pubs, salons, tradesmen, medical professionals and airside operators.
